Directive

Produce a visual identity for The Theater that will be used in a variety of collateral. To create a consistent look for all messaging that will establish National Harbor as a major entertainment hub and create visual recognition in an already saturated market.

The overall look and feel is to exude old-Hollywood luxury with a nod to art deco. Color palette is to be based on purple tones with accents of gold and gray. The design elements are to be predominantly geometric in form as seen in the actual interior space, specifically the carpet.

To develop not only a logotype but also a logomark to further aid and promote public identification and recognition. In addition, concept designs are to be both functional and flexible with various ad mats.
